We are the white farmhouse, on the corner of Curry Road and Searsburg Road.
We are located just 20 Minutes from Ithaca, and it is also likely you can find lodging right here in Trumansburg.
FAQ
Where do I park?
We have a large field for parking on site. Please click on view parking driveway coordinates for google maps or click on view map. When you are coming down Searsburg road, you will pass our driveway with the Tibetan prayer flags. Keep going about 350 feet down Searsburg. We will have a large sign for the field driveway parking area. We will not be providing shuttles and ride share is limited in the area so please plan accordingly.
Food?
Serendipity catering will be providing us with a local and organic vegetarian dinner under a large tent by the barn. We will have snacks and drinks throughout.
Drinks?
We will not be providing alcohol. We will have kombucha, N/A beers and a variety of other tasty non alcoholic beverages. You can BYOB if you wish.
Dress Code
We're having a garden casual farm wedding. Please dress nicely, but easy on your feet. We'll be outdoors on grass and uneven ground, so please leave the high heels at home. Imagine going to a nice dinner at an English cottage, flowy dresses, linen, soft florals, and earthy tones. Our color scheme is leaning toward moss green, barn wood brown goldenrod yellow, and cream if you'd like to follow them. Think linens, cottons, and silk. Please come dressy and comfortable, and come ready to celebrate with us!
Gifts
We have thought long and hard about what would bring us the most long term joy. For many years we dreamed and visualized living on a small farm so we could work with the land, grow food, and spend time playing in the soil. We feel beyond blessed to be living that dream now up here in the Fingerlakes.
We have the tractor and the fields, and now what we want most is to extend the growing season by installing a walipini greenhouse. We installed solar ourselves and have enough extra generation, that with the right design, should be able to cover the heating costs of the greenhouse to grow food all winter long.
That being said, in leu of gifts, we are asking for support to turn that dream in to a reality. For our friends in the construction field, even more than financial support, we would love a hand building!
